I just bought a Weider 2980 214Lb stack home gym and got to the part where I am to insert a “weight selector cap”” into the weighty selector…..can’t seem to find this part . What does it look like, where is it to be found, if in fact it is needed?????

The second part says on the site that it is ready to be shipped and pulled, but no one can seem to find it. I just purchased a Weider XR 50 Home Gym. Everything works great except one glitch. When I use the “default” single plate with no pin inserted, in other words just the top default weight plate, that weight plate wobbles and the weight selector rod goes off track 20% of the time and it would go back in the hole with the rest of the stack of weights. I am hoping as the unit wears in it will no longer do this.
I was given a weider power elite master that was purchased in 1992….the only problemi am having is the with the weight selector tube. Whe I don’t have more than the first weight on it it comes out of alignment and when it goes back down it does not go in the weigh whole it belongs in and the weight is stuck in mid air until I move the car into alignment with the whole. What. Anything I can do about this?? Any suggestions
